October 24, 2010. One week to NaNoWriMo 2010, with the drafting of Scintilla. I've said this to a lot of my friends, but I failed to complete NaNoWriMo 2008 with the first draft of Imbroglio. So, I thought, “what a better way to take on NaNoWriMo 2010 than by drafting the sequel?” Nothing says success like trying to build off of a failure.

Scintilla introduces an entirely different set of characters. Imbroglio focused on Bophendze's career crisis and shows some of the inner workings of the Imperial Postal Marines. Scintilla deals with the Bafiktuy Intelligence Directive. The Directive has been working for several decades to infiltrate the Clinate of the Copa System.

Mondennio is a Sub-Sept member and has a chance to raise the family to Sept level. When his family is instead confronted with shaming public scandal, will Mondennio be able to save his family?
