Imbroglio Plot Revision Went Well

September 7, 2010 After sitting on the shelf for nearly two years, I finally pulled Imbroglio out of the dust. When I decided to try NaNoWriMo 2010, I chose to start on Scintilla, the sequel. I wanted to bring David Bophendze back, because I knew whatever happened in Imbroglio, that he would have an unfinished bit to his story. So, in Scintilla, we see him wrapping up his tale. Despite his less martial situation, I do try to remind the Scintilla reader that David is still as ready and willing as ever.

By working out the Scintilla plot, I was able to go back and re-examine Imbroglio. There was a massive plot hole in the latter half of Act II, which I believe I worked out. This is cool, because that means that once Scintilla is in the can, then I can go back to Imbroglio and finish it. I'm hoping I can finish Imbroglio and get it to press before Scintilla. But, to make both available for Christmas 2011, I need to really put a lot of work into both of them. That's where NaNoWriMo fits in. I'm really looking forward to see how I fare.
